Shipping

Please allow 3 business days for your products to be shipped once your order has been placed (if in stock, and not a preordered item).

We try to reduce our carbon footprint, and as such, we keep our packaging to a minimum – we hope you appreciate the sustainable nature of our drawstring gift bags and can make use of them in your daily life :).

Shipping is set at a flat rate of $8.50 for orders under $150. All orders over $150 score FREE SHIPPING!

 

Returns

We want you to have a wonderful experience when you shop with us, and for that reason, should you receive your item and you’re not satisfied – please EMAIL us within 14 days to discuss your concerns. We will happily refund (less shipping) items that are returned back to us unused. Email hello@thegoldendays.com.au

Whilst we pride ourselves on offering fabulous customer service – From time to time mistakes may happen (generally when under the influence of young children lol). If your order has arrived and it isn’t quite right – please contact us ASAP.

FAQS

Q: Where are your items made?

A: We work closely with a small group of artisans in both India and Indonesia, who are masters of their crafts. They create our products in an ethical manner – we DO NOT support sweatshop or ‘fast’ fashion practices – and because of this, you may notice our preorder time frames are slightly longer than ‘normal’. Our makers work 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, with 2 breaks per day – similar to full time workers within Australia.

 

Q: How true to colour are the images on your website?

A: I have refrained from using presets or filters on all of the warehouse shot product images within our website. The images have been adjusted in both exposure and ‘whiteness’ ever so slightly – basically to replicate the natural light that would otherwise have been occurring if we were shooting outside.

As our products are hand dyed – each ‘batch’ will have a slight variation of colour. We like to think that this adds to the uniqueness of our items 🙂 Please allow for this colour variation when ordering.

 

Q: Are you taking on any stockists?

A: Yes! We would love our label to spread far and wide, also making our products more easily accessible to our supporters! We do however believe it is important that we are selective in who stocks our products – ethos, values and similar style is key when deciding who we align ourselves with.
